TB-500 is a synthetic analog of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide ubiquitously present in virtually all nucleated mammalian cells. It is encoded by the TMSB4X gene and plays a central role in actin sequestration, cell migration, and tissue remodeling.
Preclinical research has focused on TB-500's role in promoting angiogenesis, satellite cell activation in skeletal muscle, and reducing inflammatory signaling following injury. Studies in rodent models have demonstrated significant effects on wound healing, cardiac tissue repair, and recovery from tendon injury — areas of active investigation in regenerative medicine.
TB-500 is supplied as a lyophilized powder, independently verified by HPLC and mass spectrometry to ≥99% purity. Each vial contains 10mg.
